Queens Library Extends Study Hours

Due to the success of the fall trial, the Queens Library will again be extending their hours on the first floor to St. John's University students through the Spring semester 2008.  Extended hours will run from January 23 -May 13, 2008, except on the dates indicated below. 

Extended Study Hours:
Sunday         8pm-11pm
Monday        11pm-2am
Tuesday       11pm-2am
Wednesday 11pm-2am
Thursday     11pm-2pm
Friday            6pm-10pm

Exceptions:
February 18 (Presidents' Day)
February 24-29 (Spring Break)
March 20-24 (Easter)
May 1 (Feast of the Ascension)

During Finals Week,  the hours for the first floor of the Queens Library will be until 2am every evening. These hours, as well as the Libraries' regular hours, are listed on the Libraries' Hours web pages. No regular library services will be available at these times and access to the other floors will be unavailable.

During extended hours, students will have access to reference service  through the Libraries' email reference service, Ask Us!  Other electronic services will also be available, including MegaSearch eReserves, and ILLiad, as well as the Libraries' extensive collection of electronic resources.
