On Sunday, October 9th, The Office of Community Relations hosted
a concert on the Staten Island campus with the Richmond County
Orchestra conducted by Maestro Alan Aurelia. The concert was titled
“Music of the Masters” and featured violinist Charles Rex of the
New York Philharmonic performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto as
well as the world premiere of the Wafoo Suite, a fusion of
classical and orchestral music.
