The National Urban Alliance provided support for St. John’s
University to host a Financial Literacy Forum that centers on the
urgent need to create a National Center for Teaching Financial
Literacy. A select group of community leaders will gather to
discuss the problems associated with a lack of financial literacy
and conceptualize possible solutions to address the absence of an
effective financial literacy policy for our nation’s students and
consumers.
The University thanks the National Urban Alliance for becoming a
member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Council.
