Benefactor
The support of Sovereign Bank has helped St. John’s University to
address the need for financial literacy among students at various
grade levels. The bank provided funding for a planning grant to
conduct research and disseminate data on financial literacy to K-12
teachers and administrators through their State Education
Departments. The grant also provided support for research into
viable techniques and strategies that would enhance the
presentation of financial literacy information to students at
various grade levels.
The University thanks Sovereign Bank for becoming a member of the
Corporate Social Responsibility Council.
