Target has partnered with St. John’s University in a number of
ways.
By supporting the Women in Leadership Program, they are helping to
prepare students to understand women's issues and learn about many
influential women in our community. Students participate in a
series of workshops that focus on academics, community service,
spiritual development and the personal enhancement of women.
Target also supports student engagement programs that strengthen
the interconnection between students, alumni and the University.
Many events, such as those scheduled during International Education
Week, are designed to instill a sense of global awareness among all
members of the St. John’s community.
By supporting St. John’s Criminal Justice Program, Target is
helping to provide students with an understanding of the
multi-faceted components of the criminal justice system. The
curriculum of the program includes a solid interdisciplinary
liberal arts foundation aimed at preparing students to become
intelligent, ethical and humane decision makers in this vital
public service.
The University thanks Target for becoming a member of the Corporate
Social Responsibility Council.
