T-Mobile has helped to support St. John’s University in a variety
of ways. Through their generosity, students returning to the Queens
campus had an opportunity to view the summer’s most popular movies
in the Little Theatre at discounted prices. Resident students were
treated to a variety of exclusive offers on special promotions
while they moved into their new housing during Move-In
Weekend.
T-Mobile’s support for Student Activities Fairs has helped to
provide students with the opportunity to learn about the different
clubs and organizations available at St. John's. Over 100 cultural,
political, religious, literary and special interest organizations
participate.
T-Mobile also supports University Service Day, a day when members
of the St. John’s community work side-by-side to serve those less
fortunate. Motivated by the spirit of
St. Vincent de Paul, teams plant gardens, clean homes, paint
classrooms, visit sick children, socialize with well children and
the elderly and bring meals to the homeless. This annual tradition
truly embodies the University’s Vincentian mission and
heritage.
The University thanks T-Mobile for becoming a member of the
Corporate Social Responsibility Council.
