Dr. Anthony LoBalbo (Department of Fine Arts) will be performing as part of the South Salem Festival of the Arts, April 18th at 3:00pm at the South Salem Presbyterian Church in South Salem, New York.  He will be performing works by Claude Debussy and Scott Joplin.

Professor Joseph Adolphe (Department of Fine Arts) Self Portraits and Work will be on exhibit at the Object Image Gallery from April 16th - May 9th at 91 Fifth Avenue Brooklyn, NY. Opening reception Friday April 16th 6 - 9pm.

Professor Liza Renia Papi (Department of Fine Arts) was the set and costume designer for the New School University presentation of "Mysticus". This joyous celebration of song, rhythm, drums and dance with a Live Brazilian band featured Alesh DuCarmo at the Tishman Auditorum, March 26th.

Dr. Robert J. Mockler (Management) published the fifth edition of Winning in Today's Rapidly Changing Markets: The Never Ending Quest for Newer, Better, Different, Faster, Cheaper (New York, January 2004). This book is now being used in MBA courses at St. John's University.  He published the co-authored cases, "Eli Lilly & Company: The Pharmaceutical Industry," "IBM Global Services: The Professional Computer Services Industry," "Avon Products Inc: The Personal Care Industry," and "J.P. Morgan Chase: The Credit Card Segment of the Finance Services," in the book Strategic Management, by John A. Pearce and Richard B. Robinson, Jr., Ninth Edition, Homewood, Illinois:

Prof. Matt Burke (Department of Fine Arts) will exhibit his work, "Chrysalis, an Installation," at the Art Lot. 206 Columbia Street, Brooklyn. March 7 - May 31. Art lot open first Saturday of each month.

Present and some former faculty of The Department of Fine Arts will had a Faculty Exhibition at The New York Law School March 1 - April 16th, 2004.

Dr. Ninah Beliavsky (Languages and Literatures) presented three lectures: "Existing-Being-Having in Modern Hebrew and in English," at the 48th Annual International Linguistics Association Conference at New York University (April 2003), "Anxiety in the ESL Classroom: Facilitate Anxiety-Free Learning" at the 14th Annual Conference on The Role of Imagination in Language Learning at New Jersey City University (May 2003), and "Let There Be Music and Art in Your ESL Classroom," at the International Conference on Imagination and Education in Vancouver, Canada (July 2003); also published an article, "Rekindled Hope," in Congregation Sons of Israel Newsletter (April 2003).
