One of the by-products of globalization in the legal profession has
been the growing demand for cross-border specialists — a challenge
that the
School of Law is meeting by launching
an LL.M. degree program in
U.S.
Legal Studies for Foreign Law School graduates. The Law School
also introduced a
summer Rome
program for St. John’s School of Law students and students from
other U.S. law schools. “Such initiatives expose our J.D. students
to lawyers from foreign jurisdictions, enabling them to be
successful in a cross-border legal environment,” states
Dean Mary
Daly.
