Master of Liberal Studies in Rome

St. John’s commitment to being a steward of the earth exemplifies the University’s pervasive dedication to making a difference. Another reflection of this commitment is the continuation of its Global Development and Social Justice concentration in the Master of Liberal Studies program in Rome. Pope Benedict XVI hailed the occasion of the second entering class at St. John’s by stating, “This is an important work that must continue.” Made possible by a collaboration between Caritas of Rome, the Idente Foundation, the TATA Giovanni Foundation, the Institute Sante Maria en Aquiro and St. John’s, the program provides generous financial assistance to professionals working in poverty-related positions worldwide. Students who aspire to careers helping the poor and marginalized are also given consideration.
