11th Annual Founder's
Week, Building Communities of Hope, with the Manhattan Campus,
Office of Student Life and Street Project Organization
invite you to volunteer for
Helping Hands
As we join in the celebration of our institution's illustrious
history during our annual celebration of Founder's Week, the
Manhattan Campus, Office of Student Life felt there was no better
way to celebrate our mission than to lend a helping hand in
improving our local community.
We will be joining forces with Street Project Organization
and their Helping Hands Project. Street Project was founded
in New York City in 1987 by young professionals as a non-partisan,
not-for-profit volunteer organization. Throughout the past 15 years
Street Project has grown to encompass more than 2,000 volunteers in
New York City who work with more than 20 community service
organizations providing the opportunity to volunteer in New York.
Helping Hands volunteers spend a couple of hours each month helping
to refurbish public school buildings in New York City.
Can we count on you to volunteer?
