Papal Motorcade Awes Crowd Assembled at Manhattan Campus

"Awe and inspiration" were the words overhead in the crowd that described Pope Benedict XVI's visit to Manhattan yesterday, April 20, 2008. Following the Pope's blessing of the World Trade Center site, St. John's University students and administrators caught a glimpse of the Papal motorcade passing near St. John's Manhattan campus. The excitement of this moment was heightened by New York's Bravest and Finest, who joined the St. John’s group in front of the campus.
