In conjunction with Women's History
Month, the St. John's community is invited to join in a
special Blessing of Women at St. Thomas More
Church on Thursday, March 21, 2013,
from 4:40 to 5:15 p.m.
Sponsored by Campus Ministry, the blessing
recognizes this year's theme, "Women Inspiring Innovation through
Imagination." The University will pay tribute to women who have
made an impact in the fields of science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics. A blessing will be offered in the spirit of these
women who have changed the world.
Women's History Month is a celebration of women's
contributions to history, culture, and society. The United States
has observed it annually throughout the month of March since
1987.
