Hunger Awareness Month SI 2009

November is Hunger Awareness Month at St. John's University.  We seek to educate the campus community on issues of hunger and poverty in our city, nation and world.  In keeping with our Catholic and Vincentian mission, we also provide opportunities to take action and serve.

As we prepare to gather around tables for family, fellowship and food, please donate non-perishable goods to be distributed to local families in need.

Tuesday, Nov. 24 - THANKSGIVING BASKET ASSEMBLY & DELIVERY 

5 pm   DaSilva Academic Center Atrium

Assist the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in gathering the food donated during their annual drive, putting together baskets of food for needy families in the area and delivering this food to those families.

A limited number of individuals can take part in the delivery.
