St. John’s Law is pleased to welcome Alexander (“Sasha”)
Greenawalt as Visiting Professor for fall 2013.
Greenawalt is an Associate Professor of Law
at Pace Law School, where he joined the faculty in 2006. He also
spent five years at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where his
practice focused on international disputes. He was a teaching
fellow at Columbia Law School in 2005 and was previously a clerk
for Judge Stephen F. Williams of the D.C. Circuit. He is a graduate
of Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and
Articles Editor for the Columbia Law Review.
At Pace, Professor Greenawalt teaches Criminal Law,
International Law, Administrative Law, and International Criminal
Law. His research focuses on international criminal law. He has
also taught at Columbia Law School.
While at St. John’s, Professor Greenawalt will teach
International Criminal Law, National Security Law, and (with
Peggy McGuinness) Colloquium in Law: International Law.
