An Event of Contemporary Mexican Poetry

Official launch in the United States of the Magazine Reverso, published in Guadalajara, Mexico, with the participation of its founder and editor Carlos de Alba, who will be presented by Raúl Zorrilla, Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute. Recognized Mexican poets Alí Calderón and Xitlálitl Rodríguez will be reading at this event, moderated by the renowned poet, novelist and author Carmen Boullosa. Ambassador Rubén Beltrán, Consul General of Mexico, will be giving the Welcoming Remarks. This event will be presented by Dr. Alina Camacho-Gingerich, Chair of St. John’s University’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS), which she directs.
