Alana Moses is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at
St. John's University and has been working with the Child HELP
Partnership since September 2010. She received her B.A. in
Psychology from Brandeis University. Prior to joining the Child
HELP Partnership Alana worked at Massachusetts General Hospital
where she helped coordinate a longitudinal pediatric bipolar
disorder study examining the course and outcome of children and
adolescents with this severe mood disorder. Her Master's research
focuses on barriers to GED attainment among emerging
adults and she is in the process of applying qualitative
research methods to focus group data. With the Child HELP
Partnership, Alana has enjoyed the opportunity to help train
and supervise undergraduate and graduate level fellows and
volunteers and hopes to continue working with the Child HELP
Partnership and similar community-based programs in the
future.
