Colleen Lang, Ph.D, is the full-time Clinical Coordinator at the Clinical Care Center of the PARTNERS Program.  During her graduate training, Dr. Lang worked for three years on adolescent inpatient units at Zucker Hillside Hospital (of Long Island Jewish Medical Center) and Queens Children's Psychiatric Center.  There, her training became specialized in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of severely mentally ill adolescents and their families.  Through her work with the PARTNERS program, Dr. Lang hopes to assist with the dissemination of evidence-based treatment to underserved and socially disadvantaged youth.  Dr. Lang also plans to assist with the development of trauma-focused treatment interventions specifically for adolescents and to continue investigating the subject of her dissertation: coping skills used by adolescents in response to community violence exposure.  Dr. Lang also works part-time in private practice and in autism research at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
