Her dissertation focused on examining emotional and cognitive processing factors of writing about sexual assault. Current research interests include examining trauma-related sequelae in adolescents including risky behaviors, and evaluating treatment interventions for traumatized adolescents. Clinical interests include working with children, adolescents and adults that have experienced traumas.
