Cynthia Cabral is a 3rd year clinical psychology student at St.
John's University and has been with the Child HELP
Partnership since 2011. After earning a B.A. in
psychology from Barnard University, Cynthia went on to work as a
research study assistant and research coordinator at Memorial Sloan
Kettering and Cornell University medical centers, where she
developed an interest in health psychology. Cynthia's
research interests include trauma related to community violence,
the assessment of evident based treatments among diverse
populations, as well as reproductive health among adolescent women.
Currently, she is an extern at the North Shore LIJ high
school student health clinic at the Franklin K. Lane campus in
Brooklyn.
