Alison Celaya serves as a member of the University Freshman Center advising team and an Assistant to the Director of the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP).
Alison graduated in 2003 from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. After completing an internship with the Academic Advising Center during her senior year, she decided to attend graduate school and work in the field of higher education.
In 2005, Alison earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Long Island University C.W. Post Campus. For the past ten years, Alison has also enjoyed serving her community and spending her time as a volunteer. Alison began as a volunteer EMT with the Rescue Squad in her home state of New Jersey and is currently a volunteer firefighter in Long Island.
Alison plans on pursuing a Professional Diploma in Counseling.
