Erica Levy has served as an Assistant Director at the University Freshman Center since 2006. Erica graduated in 2002 from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Health and Human Services and a minor in Sociology. While pursuing this degree, she was a Freshman Residential Advisor and Teacher’s Assistant for the Social Sciences Freshman and Transfer Student Mentor Program.
Erica completed her Master of Science degree in Counseling Education in 2004 at Hofstra University. While pursuing her graduate degree, she was Co-President of the Counseling Club and a permanent substitute at South Side High School in Rockville Centre, Long Island. She was also the recipient of the Marie Quinn Scholarship Award in 2004, exhibiting excellence in the field of counseling from the Nassau Counselors' Association.
In 2004, Erica was recommended through the American Counseling Association to become a Citizen Ambassador of the People to People Program. In 2007, Erica acted as a New York Delegate and participated in a Higher Education delegation to China. She interacted with Chinese professionals working in the education field and visited several universities located in Beijing, Kunming, and Xi’an.
As a St. John’s University administrator, Erica continues to show great passion and dedication to working with first-year students.
