Gerri Vopelak serves as Assistant Director of the University Freshman Center.
Gerri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Art from Queens College and a Master of Science Degree in Graphic Arts Management and Communication from New York University.
Prior to joining St. John’s University, she was an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Acting Department Chairperson in the Graphic Arts Department at Briarcliffe College. Gerri also worked at Time Inc. as a production manager in the magazine division.
Gerri resides on Long Island, is married and the mother of two children, Robert and Kerri. She is an active member of the Kennedy HS PTA and a volleyball coach.
