Course Selection

In preparation for your arrival, Freshman Center advisors spend the months of June and July reviewing your application, past academic history, advanced placement and/or high school extension courses and any other information that you included in the application process.  This information, combined with your response to the Freshman Survey asking for your input on the courses you would like to take during your first semester, is used to build your fall semester schedule.  It is not unusual for an advisor to contact you over the summer to discuss in greater detail your academic program for the fall semester.

You will be able to view your academic schedule online during New Student Orientation and throughout the summer. Freshman Center advisors are available to speak with you via email, phone or in-person visits.
