Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT)

Liberty Partnerships Program will host the Specialized High School Admissions Test Preparatory course this summer at St. John’s University. The Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT) is an examination administered to eight and ninth grade students who have aspirations to attend New York City Specialized High Schools.  The exam is divided into two main sections:

Verbal Section

This section encompasses a total of 45 questions covering reading comprehension, logical reasoning and scrambled paragraphs.

Mathematics Section
Although quite broad in scope, the section will include but is not limited to Algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, word Problems and basic Math.

Starting July 7, 2009, Liberty Partnerships Program will be offering a six week comprehensive program to help better your son or daughter. It is with our confidence and determination that your child will improve over the course of six weeks and also be prepared for the examination in November.
