During Mad Science Day at St. John’s University, Ms. Hannah from the Mad Scientist Organization presented to 7th grade STEP students an exciting and hands-on range of topics including: making “slime”, the magic of “instant snow”, and testing acids and bases on a pH (Power of Hydrogen) scale. This interactive event helped engage the younger students assisting them with the visualization of scientific facts and procedures while testing different compounds.
