Program

The Fulbright Scholars Program offers U.S. faculty and
professionals opportunities for advanced lecturing and research in
more than 130 countries worldwide. All academic disciplines and a
wide range of professional fields are represented, and many awards
are flexible to the needs and interests of grantees. Approximately
800 Fulbright Scholar awards are expected to be issued each
yearIn the U.S., the Fulbright Program is
administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars
(CIES). Persons interested in Fulbright Scholar grants may also
wish to explore other grant program managed by CIES.

International Research & Exchanges Board
(IREX)
Application due date: November 1
Grants of two to nine months to
predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars for research at institutions
in Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia. American scholars in
policy research and development, and cross-disciplinary studies are
strongly urged to apply.
