The integrity of the University should never be in question.
Thus, the University and the scientific community within it must do
everything possible to prevent all forms of scientific misconduct.
It is for these reasons that these standards and procedures have
been established. These standards and procedures are designed to
help facilitate the handling of alleged scientific misconduct and,
above all, to promote and maintain high ethical standards in
research and to protect the integrity of scientific research and of
the University.
