Todd Craig

Todd Craig is a native of Queens, New York – a product of Ravenswood and Queensbridge Housing projects. As an alumnus of the scholarship program A Better Chance, Inc., Todd holds a B.A. from Williams College and an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Todd’s research interests are hip-hop culture and pedagogy, multimodality in the English composition classroom and creative writing pedagogy. He has been a DJ for over a decade and a creative writer with various publications of poetry and fiction, and awards including the Rockefeller Brothers Fellowship and the 2008 Academy of American Poets Prize at St. John’s University.
