As a doctoral student working on my dissertation, my area of
interests include: First Year Writing and Composition; Critical
Race Theory; Vernacular Literature; Post-Colonial Studies; South
Asian and Caribbean Diaspora. I have always been very passionate
about teaching and look forward to helping students translate their
living experiences into reading and writing. I live in Stamford,
Connecticut with my husband and two kids.
