My name is Corynna LaFrese, I'm 19
years old and currently studying Journalism with a minor in Spanish
at St. John's University. I grew up on Long Island with a
younger brother and sister who are currently 11 and 12. I
have always been interested in sports, such as soccer, softball and
track, however while at St. John's I visit the gym frequently
instead of playing sports. While at St. John's I work at the
writing center, am a member of student government, am very
dedicated to my work and enjoy spending time on the great
lawn. I am currently studying abroad with the Discover the
World program in Spain, Italy, France. Traveling is one of my
favorite hobbies which is where my passion for journalism comes
in. Writing was always something I was interested in and felt
comfortable with and if some day I was able to write about
traveling, it would be a dream come true. I would love to
travel the world someday and write about all of those
experiences. I’m very outgoing, personable and enjoy the
little things in life.
