Hey, My name is Fatema Elias and I am currently a 3rd
year pharmacy student. Even though I major in the sciences, I’ve
always had a deep appreciation for writing and literature and it
will always be one of my favorite things to do. If you know me
well, you know I have a lot to say and I love expressing myself
whether it is through speech or any medium of writing. During my
spare time, I write spoken word pieces and poetry. I am the
co-editor of "The Lighthouse," a publication run by the Muslim
Students' Association (MSA) here on campus.
Being a part of the writing center for over a
year now, I have learned so much about writing and myself that I
really think it's been one of the best decisions I’ve made yet. The
WC has become one of my favorite spots on campus. And I hope it
becomes one of yours too! The staff is amazing and it really feels
like we’re one big happy helping family.
