On the Writing Center: It’s not really
“working” when you go in everyday to do something that you love. I
believe that everybody has a story worth telling or a story worth
listening to—so I listen, and as a part of my job, I try to get
students’ voices to ring louder and truer. There are other
intricacies to the writing process, of course, but it all comes
down to two rather simple questions: What do you want to say? How
can you say it clearly? Helping students answer those two
questions—that’s what we tutors are here for.
