The Center for Psychological Services and the PARTNERS program
will observe National Anxiety and Depression Screening Day and
Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day by providing FREE anxiety
and depression screenings for adults, adolescents, and
children. The purpose of these programs is to raise awareness
of the presence of anxiety and depression in adults, and the
prevalence of mental health issues among youth. The Center
and the PARTNERS Program strongly endorse the themes which these
Awareness Days promote, namely “Freedom from Fear” and “Thriving in
the Community.” The screening we offer may provide help if
you or your children are troubled by:
- Constant worrying
- Difficulty concentrating
- Depression
- Recent losses or trauma
- Disruptive behavior
- Fear of social situations
- Panic attacks
- Test anxiety
- Muscle tension, head/stomach aches
Attendees will have the opportunity to view instructional
videos, take a free screening test and have a confidential meeting
with a mental health professional. Plan to spend an hour at
the Center and share your concerns with us.
