Here are some ideas that might interest you once you've become
comfortable with using web resources.
- If you want a relatively easy way to post your ideas about
teaching and learning on the web, you might want to use the KEEP
Toolkit offered free by the Knowledge Media Laboratory of The
Carnegie Foundation.
- Developing an
electronic course portfolio is a way to document your teaching,
and share your ideas with others. For a wealth of resources
on electronic portfolios for both faculty and students, Helen Barrett’s
webpage is wonderful.
- If you are interested in starting a web log or blog, then one
of the simplest ways to do this is to visit the eBlogger Web site.
- To help you keep up with blogs, wikis, and whatever else is new
in technology, there is a great series of articles called
Seven Things You Should Know About, though the number has now
gone well above seven! Each article has links to other resources on
the subject covered.
- EDUCASE Learning
Initiatives - a great resource for those at all levels of
technological sophistication.
