An Analysis of the Clearance Rates of Serious Crimes in Trinidad and Tobago

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of criminal investigations by examining the clearance rates of serious crimes in the twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago. The study will analyze official crime data for the period 1990 to 1999 collected from the government agencies responsible for the collection, storage, and publication of the official statistics.
