for students in the Masters of Education Program (Elementary and

interested in creating "Curriculum Webs' as a resource to
facilitate learning. A curriculum web is a web page or pages
designed to enhance inquiry based learning of a curriculum theme
with links for parents, students and teachers. Students in this
class will build curriculum webs from planning and design through
coding using HTML. The course will detail procedures and principles
for creating curriculum webs for classroom teaching and learning
with the Web. The curriculum webs will support the learning needs
and interests of students.
EDU 7027 Web Enhanced Mathematics
Instruction
Students in this distance education course
participate in onliine discussion forums to discuss the
implementation of learning activities, that use the Internet as a
resource or interactive tool with their students. They then follow
up with message postings that reflect on student learning during
these lessons and how it relates to the NYS Learning Standards.
Each week's lesson involves a different learning standard or
technology tool that is part of the NYS K-12 mathematics
curriculum.
