March 2011 Conference

The Theology of Work and the Dignity of Workers
The Dignity of Workers seems to be a self-evident tenet of everyday life. Still, today, wage and hour claims proliferate. The minimum wage is insufficient and the living wage initiative has had a fitful contemporary history. Even those fortunate enough to earn decent wages are working beyond exhaustion, holding down two or three jobs in a chronic state of sleep deprivation. This conference will bring together prominent leaders across a range of disciplines to explore timeless and timely issues surrounding The Theology of Work and the Dignity of Workers.
