Professor McCreanor is the Director of Legal Services for the
Catholic Migration Office in Queens, New York. From 2002 to
2005, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in a trial bureau
of the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where he
prosecuted a full range of criminal cases and conducted numerous
jury trials. Professor McCreanor was also a litigation associate at
Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Upon joining the
Catholic Migration Office, he founded and served as the director of
the Immigrant Tenant Advocacy Project. He is admitted to practice
law in New York State, is a member of the Queens County Bar
Association and serves on the board of directors of Sunnyside
Community Services and Woodside on the Move. Professor McCreanor
received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his
J.D. from Harvard Law School.
