OSHA WHISTLEBLOWER MED ADV CLN (ADVOCACY AND LEGAL SKILLS - 2055)

OSHA Whistleblower Mediation Advocacy Clinic.Pre-requisite- Labor, Employment, Employment Discrimination or Protective Legislation for Workers; familiarity with mediation such as mediation classes, training, and externships. This one semester clinical course is available to second, third year and part-time students. Participating students will have the opportunity to represent pro se clients in all aspects of OSHA Whistleblower mediations including: educating potential clients about mediation; collaborating with OSHA, mediators and other attorneys, drafting pre-mediation papers and mediation agreements. All aspects of the mediation and writing will be supervised by a professor experienced in labor, employment and dispute resolution.
Prerequisite: EMPLOYMENT LAW OR EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION OR LABOR LAW OR PROTECTIVE LEGISL FOR WORKERS
