Service

6:00 p.m.
Dear Friend:
We invite you to a
special evening in honor of Professor Robert M. Zinman as he
begins his final year of full-time teaching. All proceeds
from the event will be contributed to the Robert M. Zinman
Bankruptcy Scholarship Fund to provide an annual scholarship to a
deserving LL.M. in Bankruptcy student at the Law School.
The reception and buffet dinner will be held at 6:00 PM at The
University Club, One West 54th Street in Manhattan. Tickets
are $200.00 per person. In addition, we invite you to make a
contribution to the scholarship fund. For a gift of at least
$1,000, you will be recognized as a Contributor in the evening’s
program. For a gift of $5,000 or more, you will be recognized
in the program as a Benefactor and invited to a special pre-event
reception with Professor Zinman. Your gift can be made over a
five-year period. Attached is the
reservation and donation form.
For decades, Bob has been a leader in the insolvency and real
estate fields. After an outstanding practice career at
Metropolitan Life, Bob moved to an academic career as a Professor
at St. John’s. While at St. John’s, Bob founded the ABI
Law Review, co-edited the New York Real Property Journal, and
established the annual Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court
Competition. In 1999, at age 68, Bob started the nation’s
first and only LL.M. in Bankruptcy program. Bob has been a
major force in our profession and has changed the lives of
countless students. What better way to recognize his many
contributions than to establish a permanent scholarship in his
honor in the LL.M. program?
We hope you will join us for this special evening and make the
scholarship drive a success.
Sincerely,
The Robert M. Zinman Scholarship Committee
