Joseph M. Mattone, Jr. was presented with the Alumni of Outstanding Achievement Medal at the St. John’s University Annual Alumni Convocation. Joseph M. Mattone, Jr. began his legal career as an intern at the Queens Supreme Court. He subsequently served in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office and is currently a partner at Mattone, Mattone, Mattone, LLP. Active in both philanthropic and professional organizations he has been a member of United Cerebral Palsy, the Catholic Lawyers Guild and the Columbian Lawyers Association. He supports the University as a member of The Loughlin Society and the Continuing Legal Education Committee. The Alumni Outstanding Achievement Medal is given to graduates who have distinguished themselves in their personal careers and professions or have made a significant contribution to the life of the University.
