Before joining the faculty, Professor DiLorenzo was a member of
the faculty at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and
was associated with the Wall Street firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham
& Taft, practicing in the real estate-banking department.
He is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York
State Bar Association. He is a member of the Executive
Committee of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar
Association, and a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Professor DiLorenzo is also Co-Editor of the N.Y. Real Property Law
Professor DiLorenzo has authored many articles and books in the
banking, legislation and real estate areas including The Law of
Condominiums and Cooperatives, Banks and the Securities Law Volume
5, Treatise on Banking Law, New York Condominium and Cooperative
Law and Basic Legal Transactions. He teaches Banking Law,
Property, Real Estate Transactions, Legislative Advocacy, and
Condominiums, Cooperatives and Homeowner Associations.
He received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School in
1978, where he was a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar and Associate
