Linda E. Coco joined the St. John’s Faculty as a Research
Professor in the Bankruptcy LL.M. program in January 2008.
Professor Coco is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of
California, Berkeley, where she expects to complete her Ph.D. in
Anthropology in early 2009. Professor Coco received her J.D.
degree from the University of Maryland and clerked for Bankruptcy
Courts in Maryland and California before joining the St. John’s
faculty.
In addition to her forthcoming Ph.D. dissertation on bankruptcy
and anthropology, Professor Coco has authored several articles and
a book., Children First, published by the Corporate Accountability
Project. She teaches Professional Responsibility and Law
& Anthropology in St. John’s’ J.D. program, and Corporate
Bankruptcy Reorganizations in the Bankruptcy LL.M. program.
