Robert E. Parella

Professor Parella is the George F. Keenan Professor of Real Property Law. Prior to joining the faculty, he taught at the University of Michigan Law School. At New York University School of Law, he was a Pomeroy Scholar and a Law Review Articles Editor. He is a member of Order of the Coif and has served as Special Counsel to the Board of Education of the City of New York. He is also a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Professor Parella has engaged in numerous research projects which have led to such publications as Modern Trust Forms and Checklists (with J. Miller). He has also co-authored chapters of Murphy's Will Clauses, published by Matthew Bender. Professor Parella was the 1988 recipient of the BALLSA Award for Man of the Year. He teaches Property, Real Estate Drafting, and Trusts and Estates.
