St. John’s Law Review was pleased to host this
symposium celebrating the fifty-year mark of the groundbreaking
decision of Brown v. Board of Education and asking the
question whether Brown’s goals have been fully
realized. Speakers/authors included Jack Greenberg, Michael
Rebell, Nicholas deB. Katzenbach, John C. Brittain, Michelle Adams,
Richard D. Kahlenberg, Juan F. Perea, and Peter Schuck. The
symposium also features a foreword by Philip Weinberg, introductory
remarks by Joseph Bellacosa, and concluding remarks by Rosemary C.
Salamone.
