Andrew J. Melnick is a partner at Schindler Cohen &
Hochman LLP in New York. His practice concentrates on litigations
and regulatory inquiries involving financial services firms,
including investment banks, broker-dealers, investment advisors,
commercial banks and hedge funds. Prior to joining SC&H in May
2009, Mr. Melnick held senior legal positions with UBS AG. From
September 2007 to April 2009, he was Senior Counsel, Group Legal
& Compliance Risk Assessment for UBS AG. From December 2002 to
September 2007, Mr. Melnick was Deputy General Counsel, Head of
Retail Litigation at UBS Financial Services Inc., where he led a
team of 16 lawyers responsible for all customer and broker-related
litigation and arbitrations arising from the firm’s nationwide
retail branches. Prior to joining UBS Financial Services, Mr.
Melnick practiced with Kaye Scholer LLP in New York. Mr. Melnick
graduated from Hamilton College and received his J.D., cum
laude, from The Boston University School of Law, where he was
Articles Editor of The Boston University Law Review. Mr.
Melnick was named a New York Super Lawyer for 2012.
