The Computer lab is located on first floor of the Rittenberg Law Library.
All computers are equipped with flat panel monitors, DVD players,
CD-RW drives, and headphones.
We strongly recommended that students save any documents for
future use to their network drives or a removable media type
because the lab computers utilize a deep freeze software. The
deep freeze software erases anything saved or installed on the hard
drive at every boot sequence.
There are three high speed printers in the computer lab
that can be accessed through computers in the lab or laptops that
are configured to access the School of Law's wireless
network. The first three hundred pages printed are
free of charge and the cost of subsequent pages is seven cents
per page.
To release the print jobs you will need your storm card that is
activated by the cash to chip machine located in the computer
lab. Please note that in order to use your free print
pages you will still need to activate your storm card using the
cash to chip machine with at least one dollar.
Should you need assistance with printing or using
the cash to chip machine a lab supervisor or assistant is
available to help from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday. You may also call the IT hotline at 718-990-1430 from 8:00
a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. on Fridays.
