Students complete a total of 57 credits rather than the 66
credits required if both degrees are pursued separately.
All M.A./M.L.S. students will complete curriculum requirements
for each degree with four courses (12 credits) applying to both
programs. These exchange courses include:
- GOV 205: Modern Political Research
- GOV Elective
- LIS 251: Information Sources in the Social Sciences
- LIS 265: Online Database Searching and Services
Admission Requirements
Students must meet the requirements of admissions to both the
Master of Arts in Government and Politics and the Master of Library
Science programs as set forth in their respective sections of this
bulletin.
