Students must demonstrate writing competency in English. This requirement can be satisfied either by examination or by successful completion of a course in advanced composition, not applicable to the degree.
Students must demonstrate competency in logic or statistics. This requirement is satisfied: (a) by presenting an undergraduate-transcript for a basic course in logic or statistics, or (b) by taking an undergraduate course in logic or statistics, or (c) by taking an examination in basic logic or statistics.
