Tuition and Financial Aid

TUITION and FEES

TUITION: Tuition for the 2012-2013 academic year is $1,115 per credit hour or $3,345 per 3 credit course. To earn the MLS degree, you are required to successfully complete 36 credit hours of study.

FEES:  You are also required to pay the following fees: 

  • Enrollment Fee (Paid once upon accepting offer of admission):       $300
  • University Graduate General Fee (Paid every semester of study):    $170

BOOKS: This varies, but is estimated at $100 - $200 per semester.      

Room and board - these are not covered by tuition and fees.

Parking - it currently costs $100 per year to park on the Queens Campus.  Parking on the Oakdale campus is free. The Manhattan campus does not provide parking. Please visit the Public Safety website to learn more about parking at St. John’s. 

Travel - you may incur expenses for local travel related to internships, fieldwork, and site-visits.
